Impact! Or: Understanding the SHIFT heart.

Embracing our supply chain

With our own final production in China, we have ensured that our direct Tier 1 supplier is a role model for very good and appreciative working conditions.

Regardless of this, we take action where the most damage to people and the environment occurs in our supply chain. We call it embracing our supply chain and are involved in various projects and initiatives that we report on in our blog.

The power of modularity

The individual modules of our devices are not glued together, but are plugged and screwed in such a way that repairs are easy. Through our modular design concept, we bring about change in many areas:

Z

If there is any damage, spare parts can be easily replaced!

Z

Electronic waste is massively reduced.

Z

In our own final production, our modular design enables an unusually free and communicative working atmosphere!

Z

Thanks to our deposit system, no product ends up in the bin!

Z

With our 13 Re’s we are making a contribution to the circular economy.

Our devices impress with their longevity!

German Sustainability Award 2024:
SHIFT again in the final!

After our successful performance at the German Sustainability Award in 2018 and 2020, we are even more pleased that the jury has nominated us again this year. What’s more: around 150 experts on the specialist juries have now decided that SHIFT belongs in the final of the 16th German Sustainability Prize! Is that great?!

Through the DNP we have the opportunity to present SHIFT on a popular stage and to make people understand the importance of our heartfelt concerns. Being able to stand there is not only our achievement, but also based on your continued support, for which we are eternally grateful. We are excited about further developments and will keep you up to date via Blog and Newsletter! p>

Regional commitment

Nordhessen is not just our home. Through our company headquarters in Falkenberg, we would like to make a contribution to rural areas. Two local projects that are very close to our hearts are the development of the Gänsemarkt, an unpackaged shop and meeting place next to the SHIFT campus, and the preservation and construction of the mill at Singliser See.

Common good – meaning instead of profit!

We are enthusiastic about business whose success is based on the impact on the common good and strives less to maximize profits than to maximize meaning. For this reason, we have been a member of the Common Good Economy (GWÖ) since April 2018. We are currently on the way to achieving a balance sheet for the common good. We will keep you up to date with the latest information about this here.
